Kate is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in women’s health, specifically pregnancy, postpartum, dancers, and pelvic health, and wellness. She believes in a holistic, whole-body approach to treating musculoskeletal issues.
Kate has been a ballet dancer for most of her life and experienced many dance-related injuries as a result. This inspired her to learn more about how posture and alignment play into injury prevention. You might catch her dancing at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre in her down time.
Kate is from Johnson City and is grateful to be a part of this community as a small business owner. She attended the University of Tennessee for college (Go Vols!) and University of Tennessee-Chattanooga for her doctorate of physical therapy. Kate spent several years working in the Raleigh area after graduating. She received her pelvic floor training from Herman & Wallace Institute as well as mentorship while working for UNC Hospitals.
